Went there about six months ago. I thought Mahoneys was overpriced and overrated. Blow Fly was very good.

Salute! In Gulfport is an awesome Italian place. Great portions and great food.

Sad to hear about Vrazel's. i liked that place way better than Mary Mahoney's. Half Shell Oyster House is close to the casinos and is pretty good. Chef Scott's sushi place in OS is decent. I think it's BYOB. The one in gulfport is fatsumo sushi about 2 miles north on hey 49. I am a fan of 32 at the IP as well as BR Prime at the Beau. Salute is pretty decent and so is Bacchus in Gulfport downtown. I am not a fan of Blow fly, but that is mostly because I saw some cleanliness issues that made me not want to eat there. Jia at the Beau is pretty good but def the most sushi I have ever eaten

Quality is good but they are gonna give you normal serving sizes of the nonsushi menu items. It is def quality over quantity there.

Even if I believed this I would still look for every opportunity to eat outside of a casino.

Half Shell Oyster House

+1

It's right across the highway from the Hark Rock. Try to go during lunch/afternoon. It gets a little too busy in the evenings for me.
