Nashville peeps, I love hot chicken, the hotter the better. Where’s the best in the city?

Had a burger @ the Pharmacy last night, it was great. Need a chicken sandwich today.

I'm not from Nashville but I've had Hattie B's plenty times. It's a solid chicken sandwich but people say Prince's is better but I've never tried it.

ETA: The pimento mac & cheese is on point at Hattie B's

Prince's. They are the OG of Hot Chicken.

Hattie B's is fine but it's the trendy commercialized hot chicken place.

Was in Nashville last week staying with friends. They also said Prince’s is the hottest.

I like spice. I thought Hattie B's mid-level spice sandwich was too spicy for me.

I had Hattie -B’s 2nd to hottest last time. Cashier talked me out of the hottest. I thought it was pretty good, but had regrets I didn’t get the hottest.

Think we’ll hit Prince’s.

If you go to Princes make sure you’re near a bathroom. I’m an idiot so I always get the hottest and it runs right through me. It’s really good though if you can handle a lot of heat.

I got the XX-hot. Chickened out on the XXX, due to lack of beer and we’re out for the day. No facilities if it wrecked me.

XX hot got some scalp sweat going by the end of the sandwich. It was 6.5 to 7 on my gringo hotness scale. I enjoyed it and suffered no intestinal distress during the hours walking around since.

It’s been over a year since I did Hattie- B’s so, tough to rank them.

I’m a fan of Hattie B’s. Last time I was in Nashville someone talked me out of Hattie B’s and into Princes.

Princes can get hotter than Hattie B’s, but Hattie B’s is a better flavor. In fact I’d say Big Shakes is better than Prince’s.

If you are just going for the hottest chicken go to Prince’s. If you want good chicken go to Hattie B’s or Big shakes.

Report back on Princes
overrated

went there in 1996 right after moving to nashville and they took out an iron skillet and told me to check back in about 30 minutes.

wandered around the pawn shop next door, came back and sat down with a chunk of chicken that was almost inedible from the heat, had ZERO flavor outside of "this is so fricking hot" and a couple slices of wonder bread.

i haven't been back since.

you misspelled Bishops.

Bishops is in brentwood away from the craziness of downtown and is a meat&3 type of place but you can get hattieBs chicken as your meat.

easy, calm and no standing for 30 minutes in line waiting just to say you had hattieB's.

I’m from Nashville and the poster who said Princes is the OG is corrrect however I’ve had them all and Hattie Bs has the best spice blend flavor wise to me and you can get it hotter than heck if that’s your thing.

Also the pimento Mac n cheese is legit as someone else said and the greens are pretty darn good too.
