What is your go to Mexican restaurant in NOLA? Don't say Johnny Sanchez because I'm not a fan.

Epically terrible recs so far

But yeah, depends on what you're looking for.

Taqueria Guerrero will be the #1 answer here.

I also like Casa Borrega.

yea i really like this place. its tucked away in the quarter of a shitty strip mall but its a great family run business. Great bean dip and all around tex mex stuff.

If we're going off Latin cuisine, then I'd throw Baru out there. But it's not really close to Mexican food.

That Casa Garcia bean dip tho.

Felipe's is 6/10 at best. Gotta love Taceaux Loceaux, Canal Street Bistro, Arana's plate dishes.

Really want to try Taqueria Guerrero when I have the time.

Guess what - Israel and Thailand are part of the same continent. You probably think Shaya is a great Thai restaurant.
