A lot of people will say Central but for one a one time thing I'd go Rendezvous. Very unique atmosphere and some stuff you don't see on a lot of bbq menus. Order the cheese and sausage plate and the lamb riblets to start.

If you are eating one meal in Memphis, I'd probably go Gus's.

Only place I've gotten to try was Central BBQ and it was legit.

Dry rub ribs at Central are the best I've had. Depends on what part of town you're in but there are three locations pretty spread out.

me too, and it's not like they don't have a bottle of bbq sauce right in front of your face if you need it, either.

Central BBQ Downtown is the best. Corkys has better BBQ beans but Central's BBQ meats are the best

I think Centrals dry rub is kind of lacking compared to the others.

I'd go
Central for wet ribs
Corkys for dry rub (and onion ring stack)
Rendezvous for bbq nachos and atmosphere

Central is my favorite though.

I hit up Tops BBQ from time to time when I'm working in Memphis. They are good for BBQ sandwiches. They have a few sketchy locations tho.

Randezvous is a tourist attraction. Not even close to the best Q in town. Payne's on Lamar is probably the best. Commissary is Germantown has very good ribs. I know you've already eaten though
