If you're looking for good stuff that's usually widely available:

Parish
Envie
Canebrake

NOLA
Brown
Rebirth
Irish Channel Stout

Great Raft
Commotion

Tin Roof
Parade Ground Porter

Chafunkta
Old 504

Parish Ghost in the Machine or Grand Reserve are probably the two best beers in the state. But they come out once a year or so.

Day to day stuff, go with Parish Canebrake or NOLA Mechahopzilla.

If you are in to coffee porter/stouts, Tin Roof Parade Ground, Abita Macchiato, and Chafunkta Old 504 are all really good. Louisiana lacks in readily available great hoppy brews. Parish Envie and Great Raft Commotion are my go-Tos. Great Raft Reasonably Corrupt is the best lager around. Or you could grab some Ghost in the Machine at your favorite neighborhood store.

This - IMO it's the closest tasting beer to Ghost that is widely available in this region.

Ghost is so GOAT tho, even a poor man's version of it is very good.

I usually grap some Ghost at the Chevron at Kaliste and Hugh Wallis to wash down the ribs or Krispy Krunchy.
