I must be the only one that doesn't like McDonalds coffee.

Got a plain black coffee and it tasted like they filtered it through a dirty gym sock.

This was in Hawaii so I don't know if that matters.

Exxon convenience stores (Tiger stop?) offer a pretty decent cup of coffee. I just can't remember the brand name.

I'm pleased to see all the love for McDonald's coffee. I've had friends rag on me for going there instead of hitting a local coffee shop. But McDonald's is close to me, cheap and pretty good. I'm no snob...my coffee drinking habits were formed in the Pentagon Cafeteria. And 95% of the time I drink coffee, it's at work.

Dunno if there are any Dunkin Donuts in LA, but here in the Pensacola area, there are a couple. Their coffee is legit.

McDonalds has good coffee

Maybe Mr. Paul Newman's Own?

As I understand I can get a free cup of it too whenever I like, but I usually get either a medium or large and buy it. No sense sending Ronald to the poor house.

I've never tried Dunkin. We have some in Louisiana.

When I had a scout troop, we (My assistant scoutmasters and I) would make coffee in a blue enamel 20 cup campfire pot. Would build fire when we first got to camp and set pot beside fire, filled with water and coffee in an old (clean) sock, tied in a knot. Pull pot back when it boiled and for the rest of the campout add water to pot and grinds to the sock as needed. By end of a two or three day campout, it was stout and good. Our campfire was always a popular place for the other scoutmasters after dinner. Coffee was always strong and hot. Diluted in the cup as desired, but never had anyone say it was too weak, or complain. Probably due to the sock flavor.

Sock was always thrown into the fire the last day of campout. No sense in washing it or attempting to reuse after three days floating around in the pot.

Campfire Coffee back then was usually Community dark roast with about 25 scoops to the first pot and whatever suited the guy making additions to the pot after that.
