I see that village grocery/Marty j's, la boilers, tramonte's, heads and tails, Alexander's, robert's that are reasonably close. Sammy's and lakeside as well but would rather not pay that much unless they just that much better. Or is it worth it to drive a few more miles somewhere else to get them?

If you go to Sammy's you are likely to be accused of calling someone the n word and be banned from their establishment so I would stay away.

If the guy on Burbank is still boiling, his are tough to beat (Al Lorio). Almost across from Lakside Daquiris. And yeah, Sammys hit my do not fly list after giving that criminal deference over the judge.

Marty J's is the right spice level for me, hot.

I don't know any of the people involved, but someone who does told me that said judge gets obnoxious drunk there frequently. This is Sammy's excuse to get him out. I have no idea if that is truth or half truth.

Fortunately for me I've never cared for Sammy's so I never went anyway

If the dude is dropping that amount of money regularly then I don't see the issue. It'd be pretty easy for him to find another establishment to get his drinks at, which I'm sure he has already done anyway

I've seen the judge in there plenty, and he throws down pretty good, a bit loud maybe, obnoxious, nah. He was setup. If Sammy wanted him out, ask him not to come back, don't help that race-baiting criminal set him up.
