Is there any decent bar-bq on the south side around river ranch? I know they just opened a Dickey's, but I heard it wasn't very good. Thanks.

Not down there that I know of, but Johnson's boucaniere has great BBQ. Closed on Mondays though.

A&B BBQ (at Gator Cove) just south of the airport used to be at least decent. Haven't been in 20+ years though.

Johnson's downtown.

Closer to River Ranch, check out the Chevron station at the intersection of Kaliste Saloom and Hugh Wallis South. At the stop light.

Depends on what you want. Ribs, Chicken,Brisket,Pork, turkey?

Just like most Laffy restaurants, each one has something good but most are average at best

Went there this weekend. Really good but the meat portions were pretty small.

These 2 & Lil' Daddy's on the thruway (in a gas station). Brisket & ribs are LEGIT & their side of turnip greens are worth the trip by themselves. Stay away from Dickie's, expensive crap.

I see him on the road. Does he park in the same spot? If so, where? I have had some of his food at church and thought it was good.

They didn't post a schedule for this week yet, but they're usually at Lafayette Specialty Hospital on Kaliste Saloom, or Schumacher off of Pinhook on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. Probably my favorite BBQ in Lafayette.
