What are some ways to cook/marinade backstrap that are off the beaten path?
Also deer roast ideas are welcomed
TIA

Have recently been cutting meat into small cubes. Like to marinade for 2 hours in Moore's, Italian dressing, Tony's, and garlic powder. Wrap in bacon using a tooth pick and grill over a low fire. Friggin Excellent

Add cream cheese and a jalapeno in the middle.
Although that's not really off the beaten path. But damn it's good.

Venison Steak Diane
This is my favorite way to cook a venison loin besides just salt/pepper and sear. It's a pretty amazing fish and consistently requested by friends and family.

I like to make "veal" parmigiana with the back strap or a Grillades and Grits.
Otherwise I'll just fry it.
