AVO tonight for dinner

Heading here tonight for a dinner. I have never been, but have heard great things. Anything specific I should try?

I ate there recently with a group of 4.
I can only comment on what we had.
Starters
Meatballs... good not great
Fried eggplant.. very good
Jumbo lump crab... excellent
entrees
Lasagne.. I was told it was very good
Gnocchi.. it was very tasty.. a little spicy too
chicken marsalla... very good, but different than what you might expect.
I wanted to get the special of the day which was soft shell crab, but it was gone.
Desserts
chocolate parfait very good
tiramisu... it was not on the menu, but was available. it was excellent.. not too sweet
I can only comment on what we had.

Ive been twice. First time we had a tuna crudo appetizer that was very good. Second time I had the porchetta special that I would recommend if its available.

Freied Squash blossoms are always great. The pastas are good. Get several for the table if possible. And though I have not had it yet, I would order that duck breast and foie torchon dish I see on the menu in a heartbeat.

This is what we got last time and it was all excellent. BTW, don't park across the street in that parking lot, the owners get pissed and call the cops.
