The Reuben kicks arse.

Any chance there will still be some Tart of Darkness and Oude Tart left in NOLA next weekend?

Next time you go, get the Sam (Pastrami and Cole Slaw) on seeded rye or the Italian Hoggie (simple but good).

Sam on marble rye or Foxy on ciabatta are my staples

They had half a dozen Oude Tarts left. Only had one Tart of Darkness that Dan had hidden that he was trying to sell me.

Another update from the field. Elios still had Tart of Darkness in stock. They had several of the Bruery options, and at much better prices than Steins.

Stein's is gonna typically be a little higher across the board in my experience. They had some Bruery products on the shelves, I think about 6 Choklats, a couple Pumkings (surprised to see that in January), and I think 5 of the Brooklyn Black Ops left. Were out of the ICS cans. Almost out of Timber Beast. Had a few of the sisters left, one Juliet, 2-3 Lolitas, a couple Halia's.

That's what I remember off the top of my head. Then the standard range of 82 billion Mikkeller and Evil Twin price gougers.

Elios has really been stepping their game up. They had the Stone Charred, et. al. for several dollars cheaper than Steins. Almost everything is better priced. Steins still has several things you don't see elsewhere, but other places are catching up and competitively pricing their beers. Pearl Wine Co. comes to mind.

If Elio's had the European selection that Stein's had then I'd never go to Steins unless I was in the area, but Dan has a killer selection of European imports as well as domestic Shelton Brothers stuff you can't get elsewhere.
