Anyone been to zydeco poboy in Lafayette?

Really, really good. Good bread. Dressed like Nola poboys. They do a real debris pot roast, not that deli crap. Had a vendor bring by the their seafood pasta yesterday for lunch and it was delicious. Only problem is they can't fry anything there.

No, heard it had something to do with the apartments above them. They have grilled shrimp and a really good shrimp Remoulade.

River Trash, sort of across from City club weight room wing, next to the coffee shop, The Lab. Get cheese fries from Burgersmith 30 seconds away.

That's unfortunate. If they really do make great poboys, I hope they do well so they can move into a building with a proper kitchen. I can't imagine not being able to get a fried catfish or shrimp poboy at a great poboy joint.

Didn't realize they couldn't fry anything. Just looked at Darrell's menu and it is very small, but they must be doing something right. Only time I went there, they were packed.

I didn't know darrels couldn't fry either, but have only been once for a to go. Why can't they fry? I thought for sure they had French fries
