I stop at Big Mikes on the way home from the camp pretty often and usually get the Carolina Pork sandwich with the 2 sides, typically beans and potato salad. Huge sandwich that leaves plenty of pork on the side to eat with a fork.

I've never tried the brisket or ribs, but they look great and the chicken is just perfect in every way.

Possibly best bbq in the state

I like the ribs, and the green beans are good

Great meal, burgers are some of the best around as well, brisket is good, so is pulled pork, haven't had anything subpar there and eat it for lunch often, coleslaw is always rocking.

You know I never leave the FDB Boys hanging:

It was delicious. Got the triple plate with ribs, brisket, and sausage with baked beans and coleslaw.

I'd recommend anyone in Houma to try this place out.

The brisket was the best thing on the plate. Very very good with a perfect flavor. It had that little perfect smoke ring and snap texture. The bark was great on the outside and it didn't need a thing. Although I did add some of their house sauce, which was very good.

The ribs and sausage were just OK. The sausage was slightly undercooked and just kind of warm. I don't know why they wouldn't thrown it on the the grill? The ribs were good but they didn't have a smoke ring and without added BBQ sauce they were just OK. Very tender and fall off the bone, just not as much flavor as you'd expect.

The coleslaw and beans were delicious as well.

It's definitely up there as far as good BBQ places go. Legitimately one of the best briskets I've ever had, but the rest was just OK.

Overall It might be better than the joint, but it's not as good as Blue Oak. Nothing is as good as blue oak.

I'll definitely go back next time I'm down here and try the pork and the turkey.

Brisket is rolling. Only had turkey once, but it might be better than the brisket. His poultry rub is awesome, plus I believe it was injected with Cajun butter before smoking

That blackened blues burger is legit.

Turkey sammich is great

They have some good frien catfish

Green Beans and Creole rice are my go to sides and the Jambalaya ain't to bad for a restaurant.
