I have not but talked to the wife about it at lunch. We didn't go was thinking the whole garden district would be in mourning over Victor would love a review though.

My parents tried to go a few Saturdays ago and couldn't get in without a reservation. Haven't heard any food reviews though. I heard they were paying an outrageous amount of rent on that location.

Went tonight. Fantastic. Snapper Tony was off the chain. Oysters bienville and artichokes desiard were really good as well. I didn't have a reservation but got a table reasonably quickly. I highly recommend cascios if it stays consistent.

Yep. I got at least 10 texts last night in addition to seeing it on facebook. It was also in the local daily up there today.

My understanding is Victor's kids are running it. It is located on Trenton St. in Antique Alley next to those apartments.

Victor Charles runs Cascio's. There really are like Victor Cascio's in Monroe.
I got to eat at the soft opening (I know the owner Victor). It was pretty damn good.
I was a Cotton hater for quite a while. Now, it's my favorite restaurant in town by far.

My exact complaints when I hated it. Now, I rarely get a table unless the old lady really wants one. I usually sit at one of the two bars. When I do that, I forget about normal service and it doesn't bother me.
At the tables, the service is still some of the worst I've ever encountered.
