Looking to wind down with a decent glass of wine and maybe some nice shared plates selections without a formal sitdown meal ...maybe some music also . Where in BR does one go? Coming from Lafayette will be in BR about 5..Thanks in Advance

Bin 77 is what you're looking for.

Agreed. Only place I know of that has all three -- decent wine, great food, live music.
It gets packed pretty much nightly so you might wait, but maybe not as early as 5. The bar side is self seating, but if you want to be in the courtyard with the music, you have to enter through the restaurant side and see the hostess. They take reservations, but it shows nothing open today. We always walk in and rarely wait too long if we even wait at all.

Your three wine bar options in BR are Bin77 (Perkins Rowe), Blend (downtown), or Solera (Perkins/College area).

I'm in on Bin 77 as well. Great place.

You can also put your name down at Bin77 and walk around Perkins Rowe until they text you. There’s not exactly a ton to see but it’s an easier way to kill time than awkwardly hanging around at the front door
Bring a drink, put your name down, go hang out on the benches by the fountain and people watch

No. Best wine list hands down goes to Cocha.

J. Alexander’s has the most robust selection in the region.

I've enjoyed Blend in Downtown BR the few times I've gone. Also have heard plenty of good things about Bin 77 but that it's overpriced. I'm an amateur wineo so don't trust my takes entirely.

I just looked at the Bin 77 wine list. It's very meh.

Yeah their wine list isn’t anything great. Went last night after this thread. It was packed.
I’m downvoted above because I’m me, but really the wine list at Cocha is very unique and great.

Bin 77 was a great recommendation. Hit all what we wanted and then some. Thanks
