Going out there tonight and this weekend to meet with some family.

What are some good places to go out there?

Any nice pleasant places along the water?

Keith Youngs Steakhouse seems like the best option in Madisonville. Covington and Mandeville are close enough that you could drive a few more miles and find other stuff too.

Friends just re-opened in a multi million $$ new place on the river. Heard that it's doing well. Probably wouldn't want to go during peak times though.

Morton's has. 1/2 off draft, shrimp, and oysters every Thursday.

Friends is a great location and atmosphere, but the food still absolutely sucks. They spent 6M on the place and will have to sale a ton of the $6 longnecks to pay for it.

Keith Young's is a great steak house. It is almost my most favorite restaurant on the NS.

Hookd'Up is a great place to have a beer on the river.

Morton's has pretty good seafood.

I love the food at Orlando's but the atmosphere there leaves a lot to be desired.

This thread makes me miss Badeaux's! I know it closed forever ago but man I grew up on their food after leaving the park.

Moved away and a few years later it was gone.

Keith Youngs for dinner; a bit pricey but the best steak on the Northshore among other dishes.

Mortons or Hooked up for a good seafood lunch on the water.

Crabby Shack is owned by Keith Young and has the best fried platters on the Northshore. Not a place to go for scenery like Mortons or Hooked up, but definitely good food IMO.

It's a nightmare. A complete clusterfrick. Hope they work out the kinks pretty quick.

+1 Water Street Bistro for lunch. $2 mimosas and bloody marys for the win.

Keith Young's for steak!
