That was my suggestion, how far off the interstate is Darrell's?

Chaba Thai Cuisine
4340 East Lucas Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77708
Good eats. We stopped off there on the way back from Houston in November.

We held out for Darrell's. Holy shite. It was as good or better than advertised!
I told the old lady at the counter it was possibly the best sandwich I ever had, and that I grew up in and own a poboy shop. She was happy to hear it. I complimented her on the jalapeño mayo, and then she told me how to make it.

Seriously you're gonna have the misfortune of running across my path one day and I'm gonna crush your fricking skull

Cause you are a punk. And you have some side remark constantly to my posts, and I'm a grown arse man who doesn't tank kindly to bullshite like you display towards me on here. I get respect in life from my peers and everyone else around me. Your keyboard hero bullshite is tired and old and you need to find somebody else to frick with. Unless you wanna come see me one day. Cause you know well where to find me.

I sorry you feel this way. Looking back at your post history I don't see where I made constant side remarks to your comments. Life is too short to go around threatening people on a msg board. If I knew where to find you I'd buy you a beer

You know what pissed me off was the other day in the restaurant impossible tread you put the name of my place on the first page as some sort of shot at me.
I work a full time job, and run the place with my wife. My dad owned it over 15 years with several locations it a legacy for me. You've been a prick since the draft beer thread taking shots and I'm a fiery dude and you pissed me off.
That being said sorry I threatened you.

Oh I see now. The in this thread was b/c Darrell's is a heavenly debated topic on this board. It's not even a poboy in the eyes of many. Some call it a po wich or a sand boy and the people in LC will say it's the best restaurant in the state. I lived in Texas for many years so I know what it's like to not be able to get a po boy yet have places all over that advertise New Orleans style po boys on there menu. I've made countless trips from TX to NOLA and have stopped in at Darrell's plenty. It's quick easy and right off the highway. It's not a po boy IMO. It's good but not the greatest thing on sliced bread. The jalapeño mayo and bread is what makes it stand out. It would be ridiculously easy to duplicate that mayo.

Hey, brah, you don't wanna mess with TW. Trust me.
He reminds me of Chuck Liddell, but with a bad attitude. Plus, when he has his fighting dog with him, which is most of the time, you'd best stay the frick away.
And, whatever you do, don't get into an argument about pho with him.

You could try Pappadeaux's.
Used to be my go for my stop on the way to Houston
I used to live right by there when I was in elementary school
One of my friends from school had an Aunt that had a Mexican place called Elena's that was pretty solid. Looks like it still exists.

THIS.
Chaba, Papadeaux's and Tokyo were my favorites during the 2 years I spent working around that area. You can get Papadeaux's, though, many places in TX and better in LA. However, Thai is my favorite kind of Asian food, and I have to find better Thia than Chaba.
