Any opinions on wasabi knives?

So I found a 6.5 Santoku and a 4 inch paring knife at target today. They were made by Wasabi (Kai). They were on clearance for 12 bucks a piece so I thought why not. Santoku knife from target.com
I bought them, so I will eventually form my own opinion but have any of you guys used them? They are very basic and look like they are pressed instead of forged. Does the knife keep an edge? Are they total crap? Did I make a great buy?
