What's your loose leaf tea weapon of choice?

I love it but don't get it often. I don't really know what to get. I do love hibiscus in my blend, so I am open to suggestions.
usually what I do is go to Teavana and have them mix me up a batch of something. I want to learn a bit more about it though.

I just bought a french press to use at work w/coffee, but have ended up using it with loose leaf tea...works really, really well. Plus I can use it to switch to iced tea in the afternoons.
If you're talking about what type of tea, my wife got addicted to this at the Chicago airport and we've since bought a few different kinds to try; their English Breakfast and Carolina Honey are my favorites: Argo Tea

Bought a set up from Teavana as an entry level kit.
So far I love it and like them all.

I use a strainer that sits on top of the cup. I have a ball strainer as well, but its annoying to use. Whole foods has a great selection of loose teas.

Most of y'all drink blended loose leaf tea?

What is some of the premium stuff?

Premium tea outside of the US = non blended. Blended tea is the second most popular type of tea in the US. Black is numero uno due to iced tea.

I like a good black Ceylon. Right now I'm drinking Ahmad Opa that I got off Amazon. I like the huge leaves because I use an infuser and it means fewer tiny bits get through.

How much does that normally run you?

I just use a strainer and buy a tin for about $4 or $5 in a Little Viet Nam part of the city.
This is how I do it:
Heat water to desired temp, steep for appropriate time, strain and drink. Batches work fine.
What temp does everyone use and how long do you steep it?
It seems to vary a lot.

Temp and steep time depends entirely on the type of tea. What type of tea do you buy?

People need to drink more premium tea in general.
It's fantastic.

I can't stand tea but the wife is into it. She has about 200 boxes of various stuff. They say Teavana, Bea, Brazilian and Yogi. There are many more but I made her move most of it out of my kitchen so I have room for knives and forks. The little cage she uses to make it always leaves a mess.

I'm going to be selling tea here pretty soon. I'll have to hook your wife up with some free samples

I'm a Yorkshire Tea fan.
Have made it from loose leaf, but I confess to using the square bags most often.
