Has anyone used or heard of this program? Several people I know have participated and have been very pleased in the Watson and Zachary area. For families or seniors who have financial difficulty paying for groceries, it is a very worthwhile program and is endorsed and supported by the USDA. Check it out and pass it on. Very worthwhile and a non-profit, non-denominational program.

There's one in Monroe and my kid's Scout troop will be working there in March as a service project.

I sponsored a lady on that program for about 6 months while she needed some help, they always brought the groceries to my office and they looked pretty good, esp for the money. I think it is a great program and they encourage anybody to get the food even if you are not in a bind

I've heard great things about the program in recent years, but had forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.
