American Express-Costco card no longer valid

Today is June 20, so that means your American Express - Costco card is no longer valid anywhere. But you can now start using your new Visa-Costco card by Citibank.

If you haven't already done so, be sure to activate it at citi.com/CostcoSetup.

Also remember to sign the back. If not, and you lose it, the finder can easily forge your name without any concern for the way you would sign it. It's a small risk perhaps, especially since your photo is on the card, but why take it?

And if you automatically paid any bills with your AMEX card you should arrange for them to be switched to the Visa card.

As of today, you can also register your card for online access or to update your information at the same website, citi.com/CostcoSetup.

BTW, we have been told that Citibank has a separate department to facilitate any problems that may arise with this particular card.
