Joking aside, Albertson's had a serious problem with aggressive bums and worse. Now there's almost always a cop out there with his lights on. Albertson's finally figured out all the negative press on social media was costing them money and hiring a cop was cheaper.

One of my kids was approached by a rather large democrat who asked some rather personal questions recently in the parking lot.

A Glock 9 and bear spray in her purse she was still a bit rattled as was approached from behind.

But I have zero doubt that those weapons would be used if needed and accessed with extreme prejudice.

Regardless it wasn't a usual grocery store just on route to something else. She won't be going back.

Any of the Albertsons that aren't the on College are decent. We usually go to the Perkins or Burbank one depending on which way I'm coming or going. I think the Burbank one has been the designated grocery store for St. Gabriel for a long time.

The produce at Albertson's is much better than Winn-Dixie and usually cheaper than Rouses. The one on Perkins usually also has a decent selection of garden seeds and succulents.

Haven't been to that one in several years, but it always seemed that the meat department didn't mark things down to what the sale paper said and you always had to argue to get them to give the sale price.
