About how many oysters should be in a quart?

Bought a quart of oysters for $25 and there were no more than 35 in there , and not huge ones, I was expecting about double that, was I expecting too much or did I get shorted ?

I would expect the quart to be full. 35 to a quart sounds like you got waxed

Just got half gallon at P&J's yesterday and there were 4 lbs of meat/half gallon.

Extra Small (36 - 48)
Small (24 - 35)
Medium (16 - 24)
