Easy with the salt, proboil has a lot in it already, also dod not see corn is it still in the freezer, I add it when i turn the fire off and start soaking, I hate chewy overcooked corn

Lookimg good. If a big ole dude is sneaking around your ward once you get the first batch in,it's Ole Geauxt. Grab a gun or you'll have nothing to eat.

Another trick i do is to use the mesh bag the lemons come in to put the mushrooms in, that way they are easy to find and dont get torn up too much

Everyone has their own boiling method, and some people purge with and without salt, whatever....but I have NEVER heard from ANYONE that salt kills the crawfish. I always purge with salt and have never seen them "instantly die."

The potatoes were a little hard too. But it all turned out pretty good for the first time.

For your potatoes and whole garlic heads, put them in the cold water when you first fire up the pot. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and then add your crawfish. They be done when your first batch is ready.
