went to new beer joint, 500 brands in stock etc...1 :30 pm Saturday , not a single customer other than myself and daughter in the place. purchased growler of 40 Arpent @ $22.oo plus $4.00 for POS plastic bottle = 5 glass of beer. I can drink same, IN A BAR FOR LESS MONEY ! SO...how many customers on a Tuesday ? ZERO. not long for this world. who is going to pay MORE $ to drink at home ???????

You need to chill. Place has been open like 10 days. Give it a chance to stretch its legs and find its identity. Geeze.

People who can't go to a bar because of personal conflicts, like children.

The OP seems like the type of twat that doesn't leave a tip, so he can probably pull it off.

What 40 Arpent beer? $22 is more than double what I pay for growlers of basic beer. $22 is in the range of high ABV or mixed fermentation beers. I'd have laughed in their face if they wanted $22 for a growler of basic beer.

Agreed. You shouldn't be paying bar prices for growler fills at a bottle shop.

I spent almost $60.00 for 1/2 case of beer. what have you done to support this place? the 40 arpent canal runs thru BOTH of my plantations. right...don't have $ for a tip. that must be why the Garden Distric 10 bedroom mansion is the small town house. this beer store in the Tulane ave ghetto wont last 90 days. book it.

Who the fck are you? Is this a drunk Dan Stein posting or something?

I haven't been yet, but def. welcome a place like this. You have a few decent bars and then some grocery stores that are ok, but not much in the way of specialty bottle shops.

I went to check this place out on the way home after work Thursday.

It is still a mess and there were boxes everywhere, a ton of Louisiana brewery gear and about 5 employees with only one helping customers.

I would have commented on the prices, but everything I would have purchased didn't have a price tag on it. Will give them a little time and go back when they finally get everything in order.
