I was thinking the same thing. I 'm wondering if the rest area at Butte LaRose will have water around it when I return to Texas on Sunday.

I'll be heading to Crowley tomorrow around 2 30. Will take pics. Heading back Sunday evening or Monday morning. will take more to compare.

This morning I spoke with my sister. Her home is in the Lakeside subdivision adjacent to Lake Palourde. The dock at the rear of her property is under water.

Passed over Lake Henderson around sunset (sorry for the dark pics), but this looks to me to be just below the 2008 peak.

Driving out to Lafayette tomorrow morning and back to BR on Sunday. I'll have my HD Kodak filming along the basin for you guys.
