This is on Airline Hwy right at the spillway bridge that goes over to Norco...So yes, opposite direction from Gramercy

Not sure anybody could really get any, there was a cop at the start of the bridge and a trooper seemed to be patrolling the area when I passed about 2:00 today.

about 30 people were parked and looking at the Norco end I doubt you could really see this part of the bridge.

Tried to get some but with the new secondary levee there is'nt much room for parking. Also it is one lane so you really camt pull over

just got back from BC. Impressive. Airline did have a pile of dirt to make a temp levee along the road by the bridge. Was not very high, but it was extra dirt to make what they could.

for those of you that wanted to see what the BC spillway is looking like, here's a vid from WDSU news... they still have failed to show the lake side of 61 tho... that water is inches from the top of the guide levee lol oh well... at least there is some reporting...

I didn't know they were running it al full tilt yet. Thanks. I passed over I-10 yesterday and it was quite an amazing scene coming into the lake.

If the Bonnet Carre spillway is right by Norco, LA then I watched water pour through that one a couple of years ago. In fact, my brother lived nearby in St. Rose and they opened that spillway about a half dozen times in the in 7 or 8 years he lived there.
