It's down to one lane so they can add the dirt. Water is right at the road.

I have made discharge measurements a the hwy 61 bridge everyday since Wednesday. While the water level has risen the last few days it was at least 5th below the top at 10am.
They been doing levee work all week on that side. So maybe something failed.

Sorry guys for posting and running... Yes it's down to one lane and hopefully they can contain it. For any of you familiar with the area, from CC Rd, by the railroad tracks, the water is about 6" from the tracks... That water is still coming thru the locks at full force too.... Scary

Yeah i seen that, i live in Montz and its tough to watch...very nervewracking. Should be alright if they can build that levee up a little.

Not at all. But it is a low spot, it is not breeched or damaged. Should be fixable only about a 100yd stretch.

I would love to get some pictures of it. I live about 25 minutes from the spillway. But I am not going to be another a-hole stopped on the road taking pics.

Hopefully somebody that has to pass that way will get us some pics.
