I humbly submit this request to the great Fark Board. I am quite ignorant of Comupters and farking in general. I want to fark Patrick Peterson, from this picture:

into this picture,

purple background, with "Welcome to Death Valley" on it.
Thanks you sooo much

That would be a really impressive t-shirt design. I can't do it from that photo though. I need the original. Someone has applied a watercolor effect to that picture.

I don't have the original, just the version with the rain.

I think I know what you are asking for. I'll take a crack at it when I get home.

I am willing to work on this request. In fact, I think it would be a really impressive image. However, I need the original photo and I can't find a copy.

No. To do this correctly, I need the original photo to start from scratch.

Anyone can take an image an apply a posterize filter. However, I do the majority of my monochromatic images by hand. So I need a detailed image initially.

The rain effect was added to that photo like the watercolor effect in the first posted image. While it makes an impressive image, it takes away some of the detail I need.

Someone else might be able to help you with those resources, but I need the original to do it using my method.

I might be able to work with this version:

I'll give it a try. This work takes me a while though.

Alright, admittedly not the absolute best I could do. I tried a new method of using filters and vectors instead of doing the work by hand.

While the detail isn't as precise, this is much faster. If it were for commercial purposes, I would probably prefer to do it with pens.

That being said, I do like how it turned out:

Thank to everyone for the kind words. After looking at it for a while, I really wasn't happy with the final results. I am doing it from scratch, the right way without shortcuts. I have a day or two of work yet (compared with the hour and half using the filters).

The difference might be subtle but they are important to me.

Also, I received a lot of interest from my friends so I will likely get some of these printed. I don't want to turn this into a sales pitch but I imagine I can probably get those interested a shirt.

I will shrink a version to sig size later for the OP.
