Nah, don't sell yourself short. You, TNGOP, Soonerpsycho, Cuppycup, AUlteredEgo & NC_Tigah have been making kick-arse gifs that routinely surpass mine in cleverness & quality. I still use Adobe PS CS2 for christsake.
I'm a big fan of everyone's animations and proud to be associated with such a talented group that continues to grow with GIF up & comers from around the CFB world like NoleMan, canesplace, AubieOne, Lion Monticello, etc..(I'd like to get talented & creative GIFers like JameGumb of Shaggybevo & Voloquist of Feelslike98.com over here too, at the very least to replace retired legends like Mr2Cents & BigEasy.)
This is not even considering our incredible stable of still-farkers like Spurticus, yurintroubl, DawgFarker, absolutecool, stout, Tim Dallinger, vtdad, Orphan, InVolNerable, webleedcrimson, willgetin, etc... (far too many to list off the top of my head so forgive me for any exclusion, I'm mainly here pointing out the small batch of current GIFers.)
If I have a claim to fame in the GIF world, it may be that I was one of the first to start signing my name on my stuff to make a brand name for sports-related GIFs. (Which surprisingly, sometimes I'll find on various message boards that I'm still being given credit for work some of our TD guys did, and it's only because the farker didn't sign it.)
I also may put more effort in the viral-ization of the farks. Not only do I post my stuff on twitter to my 13,000 tweeps, but I cross-post my farks here on multiple TD boards, Rivals, Scout, Shaggy, etc... so it's unsurprisingly inevitable someone may eventually send the link to a Scott Van Pelt or a Colin Cowherd for national exposure.
I've tried my best to get your names out there by naming some of you in specific tweets that will direct people to a certain funny fark thread so they can see your work, to deservedly get your names out there. I've also retweeted many worthy-tweets of Farkers who wisely already have Twitter accounts like Cuppycup & AUlteredEgo.
So I'm not the King. More like another vociferous member in a rowdy Parliament.

Well stated, sir. I try to make it a point to come to this part of the board more often, and have shared a lot of all of the talents here on my facebook, and directed people to this board. The talents of many of yall are something to enjoy, no matter what your team is. The praising of one of you nationally is a feather in the cap of you all. I would have to admit that I am an avid fan of the Farking Masters who choose to share their talents here.

Is there a good tutorial video somewhere that walks you through the steps to make Gifs? I have GIMP if that makes a difference.

Try these for extracting a portion of a video: LINK (watch in 720p) or this LINK with audio
Then try this one to learn how to manipulate an image using GIMP: LINK
(...or in the case of GIFs, how to manipulate one frame of the video you just extracted. Keep in mind, you will probably have to manipulate all 50+ frames of the GIF footage you extracted. A GIF is like 50+ farks in one. My GIFs, for example, average about 90+ frames, whereas TGNOP averages about 250+ frames for each GIF with no loading delay because he uses an advanced version of photoshop)

The best farkers in the world are here on TD! I recently bought a new home which is keeping me super busy so I haven't had time to contribute as much as I'd like but I still check in daily for a laugh.
