Would you rather have Nomar Mazara or Michael Conforto for the rest of the year?

Thinking I'll be dropping one of them when Kang gets off the DL.

Conforto. More polished hitter at this point and clearer path to extended playing time.

I could see a case for Mazara having more upside though. In the number 2 spot in that ballpark.

He's batting 2 for them and Jon Daniels loves him. I don't think he goes anywhere, especially with Desmond struggling and only 1 year invested in him

You got a rua ruggiano LF right now.. Desmond becomes the utility fill in

Deshields Choo Mazara

I'm not sure Conforto is a better hitter either

Ian Desmond is doing his best job to secure Mazara's spot as well.

He definitely trying his best... granted he always has been a hot and cold player.

And Choo is out at least another 4-5 weeks and I would imagine more especially if Mazara is playing well

Conforto was 2/3, killing it the other night in a blowout. They yanked him for Lagares for "defensive purposes" and Lagares stole 2 AB. Ridiculous but it's something to consider as its not the first time this season

Collins refuses to let him face a lefty. He has pinch hit for him twice this past week when they were up 5+ runs when a lefty came into the game. It's maddening. How do they expect him to improve against lefties if they don't let him get ABs, especially in these low leverage situations.

This has honestly been driving me crazy over the past couple years. Young hitters with good hit tools aren't even given the chance in some cases to hit lefties. Let them face lefties so they can improve!

It's obviously a different story when a veteran has a long track record of not being able to hit lefties.

And Collins never sits Granderson. He has a 86 wRC+ career versus lefties, 61 wRC+ last year. Why can't sit he every now and then? I'm sure Conforto or Cespedes could handle RF.
