Have him as my backup in both leagues I'm in.

“I told you guys, the more I see him, he reminds me of (Mike) Ditka,” Rex Ryan said after the game. “He does, man. That kid gets better and better and better.”
Amaro caught four passes for 37 yards, including a touchdown from Geno Smith, on 46 snaps. The score came with the Jets on the 1-yard line, with Amaro starting in an in-line position and then moving uncovered toward the back right of the end zone as the Giants anticipated a run play. Unmarked, Amaro hauled in the score. The tight end added three other catches for 15, 12 and nine yards, respectively. It doesn’t mean he’s necessarily left his butter fingers or mental mistakes behind him for good, but it was definitely a step in the right direction.
“That’s a big ol’ target right there to throw to,” Ryan said.
“Jace has been a guy from day one who I have been big on,” Geno Smith added. “I think he has a ton of ability and I think he can do some great things in this offense.”

rex Ryan always jerks off his.players for the most part

everything from camp is that,he's not starting, he can't figure out the playbook, and he's dropped most of what comes his way

Geno was dealt a shite hand last year. Start as a rookie with those recieving options and run game? He was destined to fail.

He is also getting positive reviews so far this year. He has a few options now and id expect guys like decker and amaro to see ample targets. Even if he completes 60% of his passes, the completions have to land somewhere

curious to see how Decker does on his own, being #1 option and with an average at best QB

Shocked at the non-love for Rudolph in Norv's system.

probably will have a decent season, but the Jets are a defense and running team. Don't see them airing it out enough to get Decker up there in FF

NOT TRYING TO HIGH JACK< SORRY OP

What RB would be considered equivelent to Decker if you were short on RB's to trade? Joique Bell?

Did you read the OP? People are all over Rudolph, he doesn't fall in line for what the OP is looking for

LE, didn't Decker play w Tebow? Or was that orton? Deckers talent is underrated. Tight route runner... Check his combine #s too

Whoops.

In the case of OP, I would go with Kelce.

Great athlete that could break out. Just matter of if he will see the field enough. Read that his blocking is so so.

As well as he has done in preseason, not sure how Reid can keep him off the field for any extended amount of time.

I just think it'll be frustrating to own. Geno strikes me as the type that will be pretty inconsistent. When he's on it could be nice days for Decker, but when he's off, like 8 for 23 off, everyone has a miserable day. It'll be a pain in the arse to figure out which weeks you can feel good about starting a Jet. I'm just avoiding it

i like Decker, dont get me wrong. BUt are we expecting another 1k season?

he played 10 games with Tebow in 11'. 20 catches, 325 yards, 4 TDs

6 games with Orton. 24/287/4TD(let's average that over 16 games: 64/765/8TDS)

44/612/8TDs on that season

Like someone said, NYJ aren't a big passing team. AT least they werent in Geno's first year. Maybe they'll open it up more. Just not sure if he'll have the opportunities he saw as the 2/3 option in DEN with a HOF QB

Decker is the ultimate flier guy for me. I don't want him in my starting lineup going into the season, but the potential is there.

Look at a guy like Jeremy kerley. He wasn't "good" but his numbers were respectful given the circumstances. You gotta assume decker is on another level than him, Geno gets better, more weapons, better offense. I'm thinking there is something there
