Gurley here

Supposedly our #1 or #2 is going to be Gurley in a league I'm in (0.5ppr). I was a little bummed about this at position 5 (wanted Gurley), but I've since become enamored with David Johnson. Really hoping for it to all work out.

Gurley would be my #1 pick, but I'm at 3. Non-ppr. My top 3 are Gurley, AB, and a toss up between AP and possibly David Johnson. Loved DJ last season and think he has a great season this year, especially after watching All Or Nothing from last season.

I have 1st pick in my standard keeper league. Obviously all the top tier players were kept (AB TG OBJ etc.). Anyone want to talk me into drafting David Johnson over Jamaal Charles? I like Johnson, but if both are completely healthy this season, I think Charles has the better year. Arizona's stable of running backs concerns me. If Charles is healthy, he will be THE guy.
I'm torn on this.
My options:
Elliot
Johnson
Charles
Gronk
Allen Robinson

I don't think Gurkey is worthy of a #1 in a standard league but what do I know
I have the second pick in our standard league and have no idea who to take, leaning OBJ right now but not sure. Who would yall take?

David Johnson is going to be this year's CJ Anderson. Chris Johnson and Ellington are going to get a ton of carries on the rare occasions they're healthy.

What does being this year's CJ Anderson entail

David Johnson will be fine this year. The love for him is reaching CJ Anderson hype level from last season. Give me DJ if he's available at the tail end of the 1st round.
Personally if I have the 1st overall pick I'm going the safe route and taking Gurley. But I prefer to draft around 6-7th

I really don't think CJ2K is about to become Hillman in the past year of the CJ/Hillman chronicles.
#1. DJ isn't injured.
#2. DJ's clearly the better back at receiving, and just about on par or just below par on running than CJ2K.
#3. DJ is essentially being used as a Tavon Austin in the Cardinals offense (just no swing arounds). He's multi-purpose(RB/WR).
#4. Arians likes bellcows. And he knows DJ just works.
#5. CJ2K is a solid backup who will take 3-5 carries. Ellington? 2 carries?
I actually think Ellington will benefit the most in the backfield. He's going to be breaking a lot of runs at full rest... But you'll never know when so essentially RB4-5 gambling material.

PPR - Antonio Brown or Julio
Standard - OBJ
Standard - OBJ

The Chiefs will be lowering his work load. Johnson will get more touches than Charles. I would def take Johnson before Charles. Elliot too.

I doubt it. He averages 15 touches a game. It ain't going lower than that

Of that group, I would prefer Elliot. I think Johnson & Charles share a lot more carries than people think. Too high for a TE and think you can get comparable numbers from Olson, Reed, or Walker. I'm not as big on Robinson and like several WRs over him.

I play in three money leagues, two of them are auctions and the one that is a draft is a keeper league. Everyone can keep up to 6 players + 2 developmental players (players who are in their first 3 years of their career who ranks below the top 20 players of their position).
With 12 teams, we enter the draft with 96 players already on a team (in some cases a team will not use a keeper spot, they can trade it, but if they don't they get an extra draft pick after the first round, but every year its usually between 92-96 players not available).
In the auction leagues it comes down to point management. You can say you want certain players, but there are several factors that are in play that determines the value of each player. I have a list of 10-12 players and from that list I want to have at least two of them on my team. Then from there is mostly all about who I don't want on my team.
All my leagues are PPR so if I were drafting from scratch, my first pick would be Antonio Brown.

I've written off Elliot. He will share carries as well. DMac and Alfred Morris > Spencer Ware and West. Plus he's a rookie!
