Who do you draft

Got the 9th pick in a 10 team daily head to head 5x5 category league. Who would you take 9th overall and then who would you take with the next pick in the second rd? The best case scenario I have seen in a mock draft is a gonzo at 9 and then j ellsbury at 12.

Dont take ellsbury. I would take A. Gonzalez then E. Longoria

I am picking 9th in my league also. I've done a lot of mocks and I find the best combination is HanRam and then CarGo.
HanRam gives you the luxury of playing him at SS or 3B and the guy has been tearing the cover off the ball so far this spring. I know it's only Spring Training but still a good sign. He was a top 3 pick last year for a reason and I feel like getting him at 9 is great value.
CarGo gives you 30-30 capability with a .300 BA.

Miggy, Pujols, Kemp, Braun, Bats, and Tulo will definitely be gone.
However, if he is still around (you never know, but this is doubtful), then I would first go for Votto.
Other good choices at 9: Cano or AGon.
At 12: Cargo, Longoria, or you could go Halladay or Kershaw if you like top flight pitching.

Yeah I hear ya. One of the bad things about this draft is its a yahoo online draft which means that most people pick according to yahoo's rankings. Thats why I will most like only have A Gonzo left to choose from at nine bc he is the 9 best player according to yahoo.

Going HanRam at 9 and CarGo at 12 is not a bad idea especially if HanRam returns to his old form when he was the number 2 player in fantasy baseball. I might have to think about that one.

I had pick 4 of a 12-team dynasty league recently and picked up Hanley in round 3. I'm not saying you should wait on him, but I'd take A-Gon or Votto first, then maybe Hanley.

If you take Hanley, take him at the 12.
