Hunt, he's in a great position to be the top scoring rookie back. he'd have to be really ineffective to not be imo with the opportunities he'll get along with the style of ball that KC plays.

Hunt, he's in a run heavy offense that uses their backs as receivers. I like Cook, but after watching the Vikes/49ers game, I don't think their offensive line is fixed.

I would like to hear opinions about this as well. How long is Ware expected to be out?

Saw something pretty troubling from Hunt against the Seahawks. He missed a hole that Trent Richardson would've waltzed though. Won't be surprised if West ends up splitting a lot of that workload

Can you explain your thinking on this? Adrian Peterson had a tough time in the Vikings offense when he played last year while the Chiefs running backs like Ware and West have had some moderate to good success. It seems to me that Hunt is in a much better situation.

I'd counter that w

MIN signed Latavius Murray for $5 mil per, you'd have to wonder if he gets GL touches. Then you got McKinnon, who is best through the air. Couple that with a near league worst run blocking unit

Charc West is going into year 4 in KC and Reid didn't hesitate to name Hunt starter. Historically Reid doesn't really split backfield work

I'd say Cook is the slightly better player in a worse system/situation, and Hunt isn't as good but in a way better situation

I was initially worried about this myself, but since Latavius hasn't been able to get on the field much this TC I think its cleared the way for cook to take the job. Obviously, Murray got that contract before they thought they'd have any chance of landing cook. So are they going to force some type of split just because? Murray was inefficient behind a good offensive line in Oakland, can't see him being very effective here.

that about sums it up though, but I still give a small edge to cook

You would think Murray is thrown to the trash heap. But then you look at Zimmer giving Asiata GL touches last year. 5 of his 6 TDs from 1 or 2 yards

Cook has an inch and 5 lbs on McKinnon. Perceived smaller back. Bigger back gets GL for Zimmer? Dumb but could be a reason to justify $5 mil

I think Hunt has a better season than Cook.

Hunt just has a much more attractive situation IMO.

I have no exposure to Hunt this year and I'm pissed about it.

Cooks' pass blocking ability is going to keep him on the field.

Cooks is the better player, but Hunt is in the better situation.
