He's looked great with Dak in preseason, but that could faulter. Where would you want to grab him?

Toss him in the the higher end WR2.. Those guys who will still be good but still have question marks

Jordy
Cobb
Watkins
Cooks
Hilton
DT88

Or if you really believe in Dak, don't move him at all

Speaking of DT88, please stick your head in the rate my team thread and let me know what you think of my squad

I still think he's capable of double digit TDs, for what that's worth.

I won't be taking him in the first two rounds so I probably won't be getting him anywhere.

From '12-15, Dez Bryant avg. .239 FPTS/snap w/Tony Romo at QB; .144 w/Romo out. Bryant plays 50-55 snaps/G; about 5 FPTS difference per G.

Pretty large difference

Obviously none of that was with Dak at helm, though

Dak can still throw a pretty good ball, and just let Dez make a play. My draft is next weekend so I might convince myself hell be a top guy even with Dak

I agree. He drops out of the top tier into Tier 2. I pick 2-15 so if he's still there I might grab him.

The Romo news hurts Elliot more than Dez

Teams will probably load the box and force Dak to beat them. Unless Dak truly shines, Cowboys could be in a whirl of hurt and playing from behind which would hurt Elliott.

They aren't going to be any worse off at QB that last year and DMAC avg 4.6ypc.

Matt Cassel
Kellen Moore
Brandon Weeden

Those guys started 13 games for dallas last season

Dallas was still in the top 10 in rush yards per game. It's not an stretch to say they have the best OL ever assembled

The Romo news broke about 4 rounds after Dez was taken in my league (ouch)

Taken right before me...and I would have taken him too if the other guy hadnt.

Because Dez Bryant is a superstar and will make plays behind a average QB. Elliot will get shut down being the focal point of a defense

Like the #3 rusher got shut down last year?

Elliot will get more touches. Dez will have a newb tossing him the ball. Advantage Elliot.

Gyno and I already referenced the horrific QB play Cowboys had last year. Dez was also a shell of himself injured.

No one was scared of Cowboys passing offense. Yet DMAC who hadn't rushed for more than 3.4ypc or 710 yards in any of his last 3 seasons in OAK, managed to rush for 4.6ypc and almost 1100 yards for 2015 Cowboys.

Now Dez is healthy and QB situation is no worse than last season and you think the Cowboys running game is going to be worse? If anything Dak as starter would add QB running dimension that would help Elliot.
