Fwiw here are the trade rules for our very serious 14 team league. Written by the commish and voted on by members of the league.

Trade rules:
a. The players cannot possess a status of Doubtful or Out [see subpart c.]
b.Trade value must be 70% or above (lesser pt total divided by greater point total * 100 = ___ %)
c.All trades are subject to final ruling by the commissioner. Cases may be pleaded if they do not meet the above elements
i.If final ruling is deemed to be bias, then the traders can ask for the trade to go to a league vote, ½ +1 of the league (minus the commissioner) must vote to allow for the trade to be forced through

So in this case. 25pts(Maclin)/37pts(Murray)=67% and would not qualify as an acceptable trade in our league.

ETA: in my PPR league, using the same rules, this trade would be legit!

There is no way you can think giving MacLaine to a guy who is going to sit him on his bench in return for a 150yd and TD Murray is a good trade.

Did you give him Murray and a BJ? That's the only way this makes sense. If he had bad WR this might! Make sense. But he already had WR under control.

That owner's stupidity impacts everyone in the league. That owner should either be educated or get the boot.

Yeah that is a horribly lopsided trade. Definitely looks like collusion.

If that isn't collusion, that's pretty close. If I were Commish, I'd talk to the guy giving up Murray, and if he can justify the trade, even if I don't agree with it, I'd let it go. I know OP thinks his WRs are a reason this trade looks ok, but IMO, that's what makes it look worse.

Dumb managing is just as bad as collusion. Morons can frick up the whole competitiveness of the league. Trade raping doesn't make you a good manager.

Trade the #1 runningback in fantasy for Jeremy Maclin ???

You're dumb for questioning why this was vetoed.

I would veto this shite without a word from either of you.

Shitty trade and it deserves to get vetoed. Can't have one dumb arse owner effing things up like that for the rest of the ppl in the league especially if money is on the line.

While this trade may just be due to the other owner's ignorance it is so lopsided it looks like collusion. I'd probably veto in my league.

Not when you consider who else he has.

Yea man. He is already really strong at receiver. That makes adding another WR for a RB1 a great idea!

Freaking immature commishes ruin everything.
