You're not being realistic. You can't just a running back off of a carry here and a carry there. He may not be the new best thing, but he could be.

Im not being realistic by being realistic?

Jets statistically have the worst run D in the NFL after the Saints.

They are 25th in points given up to fantasy RBs

outside of Fosters big run last week he averaged 3.7 YPC on his other 28 carries.

Steelers- 28 carries 66 yards

Gore 20 carries 64 yards

Daniel thomas 19 carries 69 yards

CJ spiller did have a big week in week 1.

Ballard wont do a thing, imo.

Ballard is worth an add and possibly a start if you are in need.

I know, I added him on 3 of 4 teams.

I am starting him in one league over Shonn Green

Bush had 10-61, Miller 9-48, and the team had 185

Buffalo totalled 195

The Jets just aren't good against the run this year, plus there's always the possibility of Ballard getting goal line carries.

60 rushing, 1 TD, 2 REC for 10 yds. Could be a good day.

He's not out of line factoring only the production of the RB1s against the Jets. You can assume that Mewelde Moore will get carries as well.

Especially since the Colts haven't handed the ball to a RB more than 18 times this season.

Yeah, I agree. I'm just saying this is a pretty good matchup for Ballard and he's a decent spot start for someone with RB troubles.

look at the pattern...smaller quicker backs given them trouble.

INdy is one of the worst rushing teams in the league. this isnt a good matchup. Just dont say you werent warned.! Good luck

296 yards and 4 TDs

Conservative estimate.

So you're saying he's going to break the NFL rushing record? Because that's what everyone thinks he's going to. That's the pedestal we're placing him on.

Would you start him in the flex over Stevie J or VJax??

Ballard is averaging a robust 2 ypc.

The most carries and yards Brown has in a game is 18 and 84, for a 3.98 ypc for the year. 3 catches on the YEAR.

I know everyone wants to think they have the hot new thing, but let's be realistic.

He's my RB4 in a non flex keeper league. At worst, I can trade him to someone who needs a spot start in the playoffs and further solidify my keepers that include Lynch, Leshoure, Torrey, and Wright. Not expecting him to be a starter, but I do expect to get something worth while, which is a pretty good deal considering I got him out of FA.
