The Panthers will have to pass a lot to beat the Packers and the chargers are without K Allen and their other tight end Greene. So gates should get decent action too.

I have found that people just don't value TEs, at least in my leagues. And it is ridiculous.

I have Barnidge, Gates, and Eifert - no one will trade for them.

I offered Calvin Johnson and Eifert for Odell Beckham about a month ago and here was part of his response: "I know Eifert is having a good year but I have always been content in not having a TE and switching from week to week with a TE."

He has played Vernon Davis, Owen Daniels, and Kyle Rudolph at the TE spot this year. His average weekly scoring is 3.95 at that spot. Makes literally no sense to me.

ETA: That owner won this league last year.

Depending on the depth at other positions, I keep them and use them as a flex. I have Gronk & Olsen in one league (14 teams), and am thin at RB. But, no one wants to trade their RBs bc they typically only have 1 top tier RB and a RB2 at best.

I have Olsen and Gates and I've tried trading, but nobody will offer anything of value.

Gates IMO. GB has a decent D and Olsen is their no.1 receiving threat. They will gameplan to stop him specifically. Rivers spreads the ball but still throws 45 passes a game. Gates is always a RZ option and read for him even when Keenan was healthy. Cam and Car are more likely to try to pound it in when they get close..

Gates has the higher ceiling.

Teams have been gameplanning for him all year and he still has been putting up numbers.

I have Reed and Walker. Theres guys around the league that have shitty TEs and just stream but they will not trade a good WR or RB for one. Ill use both as a TE or flex.
