Yahoo responded and said the packers need to list him as a RB/WR on the official depth chart. Until then they won't change it

I was reading earlier that the Packers would have to list him as a RB on their official roster. Wouldn't he have to change his number too?

Matthew Berry clarified that today. Said ESPN won't take WR designation off. But they will add RB as well if he funcyions mainly as RB next couple of games. Wish I would have known that yesterday

Ty Montgomery has played in 15 of a possible 21 snaps so far. 12 in the backfield, 3 at WR.
