I am in a league and had something happen that have never encountered. Our league is decent money. $300 to enter. We had a guys wife make him quit before season even started. He has no def in lineup, Reggie wayne in flex. Ever one has beat him so far because no line up changes and bye week people still in lineup. He has def on bench and gore on bench. I proposed that we allow the next 2 guys get free win so all players have 1 win against him. Then the commissioner fills his lineup in starting week 10 so all of us that play him twice doesn't auto get a 2nd free win. The commissioner and 3 others that play him twice said leave lineup alone. He made decision to not touch it making easy wins for these guys. I stated that this isn't the fairest thing to do.

What do other commissioners do in this situation.

I told him him to send me my money back if he wasn't going to do right thing for the league.

First of all, the commish should have found a replacement manager before the season started. Lazy commissioner.

Second, I agree with you 100%. Everyone gets 1 free win and then the commish should fill out the team with whatever players are projected to get the most points that week.

Your solution sounds reasonable. And I agree with everyone else that the commissioner should have found a replacement before the season started. He should have offered a reduced buy in if the team was already drafted.

Thanks for help. I thought my proposal was a very fair deal for league. I want to win but to keep the league fair for all is what is needed if you want a league to continue

make the last two weeks a top 6/ bottom 6 format. we do this in our 12 team since there's no fair way around letting the schedule decide who gets to play this shite team

That actually sounds like the best suggestion. Otherwise someone is still getting an unfairly easy opponent because the team hasn't been managed all year.
