Coming back from an injury last season. I'm passing on him early but if he's hanging around (doubtful) I'll take him on the cheap. Auction draft is different.

Worthless advice without any specifics given whatsoever. Just vague terms like "early" and "late".

He's the 46th highest player in MFL10 ADP. RB13. Willing to pay the freight or nah?

Thanks...
I have him in a dynasty league and getting offers for him. With Seattle drafting all those RB's, trying to determine if I should trade him or ride it out.

Who are you getting offered for him? I wouldn't overreact to Seattle drafting other RBs. After the top 6-8 RBs pretty much everyone is in a committee anyways. Rawls is very talented and playing with a running QB is always great for RBs.

I'm hoping he's still there in late 2nd. I think he'll be a beast. I'd probably go up to $30-35 in an auction (early).

Pretty sure he'll be there late 2nd. He's probably going to go somewhere in the 3-4th round on average.

I guess I'll get him a bit early then. I like him enough to get him as my 3rd pick in a snake. It truly is won through the waiver wire though.

Is it August yet?

$45 is what I usually spend on my undervalued RB1 every year. He's the guy I'm targeting. A Rawls/Hyde/Ajayi group so I can get an elite receiver too.

Man, that's a dicey group from an injury standpoint. I might try to substitute a guy like Frank Gore for one of those three- not sexy anymore, but he's almost always healthy and has very little competition in what should be a high powered offense so I think the floor should be fairly high.

JMO, of course.

I agree with this preliminary assessment. What I've seen on the very few lists/mocks I've looked at is that WRs continue to move up in the overall ranks. This means more 1st rounds WRs and then WR panic in the second for anyone who grabbed a RB in the 1st.

I had Rawls last year. He had a couple of nice yardage games, but never multiple TDs in a game. I put him in the category of Carlos Hyde, who I also had last year. Both are good RBs. But neither one of those teams is going to outpace the league average in points per game. I'll grab either in the 4th if I have a solid RB1 and 2 solid WRs, but I'm not reaching for that kind of TD production.

Or just take another RB since people will freak out and reach on WR's.

Normally I think that would be a good idea, but after about the first 6 RBs I feel there's a sizable drop off...If I get the opportunity to double up on them I will probably take it, but I think that's about the only chance I start the draft with 2 RBs

High end RB2. Prosise and Collins will take away a good chunk of the carries he got last year.

Interesting stat on Rawls last year...

Here is a list of RBs in the last 5 years that have had at least as many carries as 2015 Rawls and matched his YPC production:

Adrian Peterson
CJ Spiller

His ceiling is through the roof, even if he isn't a 300 carry workhorse.

I'll let injuries affect my rankings. After that it is BPA and all of them should have great value where picked.

I would keep Rawls if I wasn't keeping Nelson on an 11th round bargain

Rawls scares me because we've heard literally nothing about his recovery

Historically, that's not the way they do things in Seattle. The fact that Marshawn and Rawls both had carries last year was about injuries, not RB by committee. And look at Fred Jackson, he didn't do anything.

Remember also that year after year there would be all this pre-fantasy draft hype about Christine Michael, and then he'd do nothing.

IMO, there are two guys who are going to carry the ball for Seattle, Russell Wilson and Rawls, if he's healthy.
