Can anyone else comment on this? I have no problem but just want to make sure.

OBUDan and 31 are fine with 8:30.
Looks like we're moving that time.

I'm confused. Why would players who got traded be treated differently than ones who weren't?
Any player should be able to be kept for 3 years. If they get traded, then the receiving team takes on that players year eligibility. Just my opinion.

I agree. I think all players kept this year should be entering year 2. If you make a trade, you get the contract with the trade.

Man, now that I think about it, you're right.
Because if you trade a guy away and receive players in return, it's a way to skirt the 3 year keeper rules. I'm also for keeping parity in this league, and having more guys back in the pot is better for the league.
Only way it really hurts a team is if they receive a player via trade for a draft pick only, but I guess that's just the way it should be.
Curious for everyone else's opinion.

Anyone interested in Andrew Luck for a draft pick?

Draft order (technically begins in Round 4; the first 3 rounds are set for the keepers):
1. Cruel October (EZE Tiger Fan)
2. Mattingly's Stache (tdeucen)
3. Hodor's Heroes (Auyushu)
4. RollDatRoll
5. WhitieSupremacists
6. Jody Highroller (tchamp2)
7. OBUDan
8. Ditka (OneMoreTime)
9. Swamp Donkey
10. Mo Isom' Body Fat (lsu31always)
11. Save Dwayne Forest (okietiger)
12. Caplewood Sucks (TH03)
For those teams that don't use their TD.com name as the team name, please let me know who you are so I can put your TD screen name in parenthesis next to your team.

This is my first keeper league, but that was how I always understood it to work.
The trade I recently made with RDR would have AJ Green in year 2 (coming up) for RDR and Martin and Bell in year 2 (coming up) for me. I also keep Cobb, so that's year 2 for him.
If I draft someone awesome this year, and Martin, Bell or Cobb get the shits and I drop them, then that replacement I drafted is now year 1 as my keeper next year, with my other two players entering year 3.....
Also, I'm Cruel October.

Yup, that's the way it should be. We need to build a spreadsheet on Googledocs as well that everyone can see.

You are correct, they take on the previous owner's usage/

This would be year one for everyone? Thought we agreed that you could KEEP a player for 3.

I'm ok with a later draft time as I'm busy writing a paper

I've always understood it to be that you could keep a player no more than 3 consecutive years on your roster. If you kept someone 3 times, that would be 4 years.

This was my understanding as well, that we could choose a player as a keeper for 3 years.

I would vote 3 keepers for 3 years. And even if you trade him he keeps his remaining year eligibility.
Is what was agreed upon

Well the good news is this probably has no bearing on this years' draft so we can figure it ASAP once the dust settles.
