I just don't see many teams tanking for a top rookie. In our league, teams tank to collect multiple first round picks. They offer guys that they would likely keep in a dynasty. In the dynasty leagues I have been in, tanking has never been an issue because there's not a lot of value in going that route.

We just can't have people benching lineups once they are out the playoff picture. But we can put rules in place for that.

I'm good with a lottery for those teams too, but I wouldn't do snake in the redraft. Once the lottery results are in, I'd use that same order for all of the rounds which should only be a few. Just my opinion.

Why not just the way the NBA does it?
Lottery for just a certain number of picks in first round, then reverse order of record from then on, including 2nd and 3rd round picks?
