Stevie Johnson Is Your Week 8 Savior

Much like my Allen Hurns thread, if Johnson is available pick him up and put him into your lineup.
Rivers is on pace to break NFL passing records and with no Gates this week as a possibility, Johnson should see a bunch of targets. He received 8 targets last week coming back from injury and played over 85% of the snaps, 2nd most behind Keenan Allen.
And the biggest reason why is they're playing the Baltimore Ravens who give up the 2nd most to fantasy WRs. (Ironically, give up the 2nd least to TEs) Rivers loved Johnson before the season started so look for him to connect big in this one.

He may very well possibly score in this one. Rivers loves his TEs and Woodhead inside the 5. But the Ravens secondary is so bad WRs have feasted all season. The Ravens LBs aren't bad which is why you see TEs the 2nd lowest scoring against the Ravens

You overthink matchups way too much brother. Play your best players has always been what keeps me in the money.

So Dez Bryant active against Seahawks or Johnson?
There's this thing also called BYEs in which people need a fill in at a WR/Flex

This logic is usually correct, but ive got to give it to him he called the Hurns thing earlier this season and that dude has been on a roll ever since.

I don't own him but I wouldn't start Dez his first week back no matter who they're playing... Esp with the QB issues that they ahve.

I made a big trade two days ago and acquired Antonio Brown. Now my Flex is basically a patch job of Wallace, Antonio Andrews and Alfred Blue. Hell...I'll give Stevie a shot.

might work out, might not.
OP is kind of misleading. Rivers threw it 58x in a game that got away from them fast last week.
Johnson caught 4 balls of 58 thrown. His 8 targets were actually 4th on the team, not 2nd.

I can understand picking him up and starting him if you're playing the WW for a starter but I'd never sit an established starter for him.

seems pretty clear to me that he is

Thats why i need a stat prediction. Are we talking WR2, Flex, what exactly, in a 12tm league
Posted on 10/29/15 at 2:51 pm to Lester Earl
He can put up WR2 numbers, John Brown last week seems like a solid middle ground

Would y'all start Stevie over Lafell?

Mate, do you own a Twitter? He ripped that directly from rotoworld writers. Like, he would've got a zero on his paper in high school for plagiarizing zero
Just know that Hurns was highly touted by experts. Don't want you following tzimm under false pretenses
