I'm down with 16. I played in a league with 16 last year and it makes it much more interesting when you can't just start studs at every position. Free agents become crucial, and those late round sleepers can make or break you.

I like the auction format also. Snake draft puts too much importance on luck of the random draw.
With regard to tigerinaugs rules, I don't like QBs getting 6 points for a TD because QBs always have more TDs than any other player. Last year, AD had 18 rushing TDs. In tia's system, would AD be worth the same as Alex Smith (18 TD passes) or Jason Campbell (20 TD passes)? Under that type of system it would make players like Brees, Manning, Rodgers, etc be the premiere players. Grab them and dominate. Just my $.02.

I think that adds to the strategy. Do you grab a premiere QB first, and are left with mediocre RB's, or do you grab some stud RB's and get an average QB? It's all relative.
fwiw I had Brees last year in a 6 point QB td league, and I didn't necessarily dominate.

alright boysim just checking my thread. i got too drunk last night and am still drunk right now. i'll check into these things later on. i say we put everything to a vote, let the 12 who are in already vote on letting more in or not. this auction thing i've never heard of and will look at. for now i need to sober up.

how's this any different than overvaluing running backs... an elite running back will be piling up points at 10 yards a pop for receiving and rushing plus points per reception. If you take an elite qb in the top 3-4 you aren't getting a very good running back on the way back.

I think adding more than 12 should require a unanimous vote personally...that's a pretty big change.

I didn't see the #'s do I fit in under 12?? If so I'm ok with keeping it at 12, if not then how dare yall keep it at 12 fing cowards. Scared we would dominate the league I'm sure

I think that way though is more realistic to the actual NFL and if you do a auction draft, instead of a snake draft well then getting Brees, Manning or Rodgers is going to cost a LOT and it would leave you skimping on cheap players later on, making it more of a balance.

agreed...plus a touchdown should never be 4 fricking points...if you want to take away yardage points from the qbs fine but its fricking retarded that Brees can throw a TD to Colston and Brees get 4 and Colston 6. If it counts as a TD for a players stats it should be 6 points.
