I am in a dynasty or keeper league. I already have Graham, but am looking for an available backup or potential breakout tight end. Ideas?

Thanks.

Yeah, hoping to draft Eifert if he lasts until the third round. I don't think he'll make it, though.

Broncos OC Adam Gase says TE Julius Thomas will continue to receive "as many reps as possible."
Thomas was impressive in Thursday's preseason opener, securing four passes for 35 yards as the starting tight end. With Joel Dreessen (knee) and Jacob Tamme (quad) both nursing injuries, Thomas has a real opportunity to run with the job. He's a plus athlete who is starting to show up on the fantasy radar. Julius Thomas | Tight End
Team: Denver Broncos
Age / DOB: (25) / 6/27/1988
Ht / Wt: 6'5' / 255

Broncos TE Joel Dreessen is done for the remainder of training camp after undergoing a followup surgery on his balky left knee.
He'll also miss all four preseason games. Dreessen had a left knee scope in May, experienced a setback in training camp, and needs another surgery. This has opened the door for Julius Thomas to grab the Broncos' starting job. Aug 4 - 7:08 PM

What about Ben Watson? Payton has been raving about him.

If Gronk's injury lingers, Fells might be a nice snag.

Brandon Meyers might breakout this year with a competent offense

not really sleeper, he's like 6-7 off the board.

but yes, if eli likes him, great situation

He's been ranked around 10 for the most part. I think he could end up being top-5 if he and Eli develop a relationship.

Honestly, I think Myers was in a better situation last season. Oakland has mediocre weapons and they threw the ball a ton. He was the 6th best TE and saw 100+ targets.

Eli doesn't particularly like the TE and has multiple WR options. Myers will still be viable, I just don't expect him to really have a better season than last.

Same with Cook. Bradford is allergic to producing a relevant fantasy TE.

What about Ed Dickson? I really haven't followed TE rankings that much this off season, but I think he would be interesting with the injury to Pitta.

Great work, gentlemen. Kashonly - looks good. I think I'll go that route.

he hurt his hamstring like a week ago or something. He's supposed to miss the rest of the preseason I think.

might want to keep that in mind. Hamstrings can be real tricky. He supposedly had a slight tear in his hamstring.

Dustin Keller

tannehill week 1: 1 of his 5 throws went to Keller
tannehill week 2: 3 of his 9 throws went to Keller

Keller is 3 for 4 targets, 1 missed target ended up drawing a flag for DEF Holding.

3 catches 50 yards and a TD in what may amount to be a quarter of play....but was against mainly 1st string DEFs

quote:

among fantasy-relevant Dolphins players, Keller is leading the team in preseason receiving with three catches for 50 yards and the score. On Friday night, Keller secured a bullet 22-yard score from Ryan Tannehill. While we're not bullish on Keller's fantasy outlook, he could flirt with back-end TE1 value with a realistic chance to lead the Dolphins in receptions
