In the championship game (ppr) and currently Denard is the odd man out. I have Woodhead, DeAngelo Williams, and James White plugged in ahead of him.

Williams = autostart
Woodhead = finally blew up last week when Melvin got hurt and he killed Oakland earlier this year
James White = filling in nicely for Dion Lewis and the Pats should want to avoid running into the Jets strength

It is tough to bench Denard given what the Saints have given up to rb's all year. With Yeldon and Toby G out am I making a mistake here?

Man, I don't know about that. Saints give up the most fantasy points to RB's this season. I think I'd start Denard over White.

Also, Denard played in 100% of the snaps last week. Expect the same work load against the Saints.

ETA: I'm stacked at the RB position, and I'm starting Denard this week.

Yes, I looked at the saints defense and they seems to give up 30 points to the rb position group regularly. It is really down to White and Robinson.

White
Pros: ranked 6th on fantasypros and averaging around 20 game over the last 3, he's basically a wr
Cons: Never know what scheme Bill is going to use

Robinson
Pros: Saints D, gets pass targets as a +
Cons: Could re-aggravate that foot or have td's go to the Allen brothers

Same here, I have 6 rb's in the top 14 on fantasypros this week. Cursed at wr though. Cobb sucks, AJ Green messed his back up in practice, and Doug Baldwin got injured in practice. I have all the luck....

Woodhead' snaps and touches weren't all that great last week, he just got 3 TDs.

I think I'd go denard over him

Gordon is out though so more snaps can be had. Also woodhead had 32 against oakland in the first matchup.

Are Woodhead's TDs flukes, though? Most Red Zone targets amongst RBs with 16

10 RZ receptions = same as Deandre Hopkins, Calvin, and Fitz

Snaps be damned, he will be in on passing downs and in the the RZ. In PPR, he's a top 12 option at this point, imo. White is a top 10 PPR option at RB. Williams top 5 this week.

Dont know if I can sneak a gimpy Robinson over any of the 3

I's play Denard just cause I think the Jags-Saints could shootout.

plus, the Saints have been awful against the run.

most people are fixated on the bad pass defense but they are equally as worthless stopping the run.

i don't know what Yeldon's status is but Robinson is a must play if he starts IMO.
