Yea I know the snaps... but Gio still had 32 touches compared to Hills 17. 15 more touches, and only played 11 more snaps.

And it was a perfect scenario for Hill to get more work as well. They were leading the entire game vs the Falcons, who are soft in the middle like you said. And Gio still had 12 more carries than Hill did.

I agree Hills role will expand as the season goes on, but Gio is most def the guy in Cincy. IMO, it will be a 60/40 split in favor of Gio. And with AJ Green looking to miss a game or 2, Gio becomes their biggest threat in the passing game and will see more snaps. Gio is the man there.

Im not saying Hill looks bad or whatever. He looks great. But Gio is the favorite in Cincy. Hills role will expand though. And I think both guys will see enough action and touches to be a legit fantasy option. But Gio is the man for Cincy.

I see what you're saying but snaps don't equal touches, ask Shane Vareen Gio still had 32 touches and Hill only had 17. I don't see hill being the #1 back anytime soon

+1 ... Barring injury, Hill will play 2nd fiddle this entire season. You can do a lot worse than Hill, but there's no way he overtakes Gio as the RB1. I don't see how anyone could think otherwise, putting the LSU fandom aside.

im not saying Bernard is going to disappear. He's still great in the passing game.

Jeremy Hill is the best runner on that team though.

Yap. Both are great for what they do.

In regards to Shane Vereen, you cannot judge him on that MIN game. If NE is up 3 TDs, he isnt getting action. Same goes for Gronk or any other WR. Brady threw the ball 22 times. He threw 56 times in the MIA came, which was a close contest.

He doesnt have to overtake Bernard to cut into Bernard's production. A 50/50 spilt could happen.

Gio is at 41/138 for 3.4 YPC this season. Coming off a sub 4 YPC the 2nd half of last season.

Hill is at 4.9 thus far and has shown what he can do on the ground in the preseason and limited regular season action.

How soon we forget Benjarvis Green Ellis got 225 carries last season. CIN drafted Hill early for a reason. A playoff team who is ready to compete doesnt just take a stud RB at that spot to let him sit.

He's not sitting.

But I said 250 touches for Gio at the beginning of the year.

Nothing I've seen so far makes me think twice about that prediction.

Both players are in the upper echelon in terms of overall talent at their position.

Yea the ypc is true, but typically the more carries you get the lower ypc youll have.

And you gotta factor in what Gio brings in the passing game, cant just forget about that. Gio has 11 catches for 141yards on top of his 138 rushing yards. 279total yards in 2 games is really good. About 140yards per game.

But I do think both get enough touches to be fantasy assets. But I think Gio out touches Hill about 60/40.

sproles, if he has a big night tonight I might disagree but I think Mccoy is too good to take away touches from.

Tonight makes this a more difficult decision

I'm tempted to drop neither Spriles nor hill and start one of then til Charles comes back

I can't drop Charles or bell

Maybe I should try to trade hill or Sproles to improve my QB and pick up Davis but Darren is looking good tonight
