Guy is offering me Tom Brady and Frank Gore in exchange for AP and CJ spiller. I could really use Brady at QB (currently have Rivers after starting the year with Romo.) My other RBs are: J Stewart, CJ Anderson, and T Mason. I know this leaves me weak at RB but it might be worth it if Brady continues playing at this level.

Thoughts? 8 team league, standard scoring.

I'd keep AP and just pick up a QB off the WW. In a 8 team league, there should be some good options.

No. Especially in an 8 team league. The smaller the league the more important it is that you get the best player overall in a trade. If a draft was to be done over today AP would still be a top 3 pick, and Brady would be picked about in the 3rd round maybe 4th. (Eta: now that I think about it probably later in an 8 team)

Is this PPR or standard?

What QB's are available in free agency? In an 8 team league there are probably a couple of players with high upside available.

The fact that you are considering this explains why you play in an eight man league.

Standard scoring. The top 3 QBs in free agency are Tannehill, Mariota, and Kaepernick. Seems like almost everybody has 2 QBs on their roster.

Carr, Taylor, Dalton? Maybe Palmer? None of these are available.

Mariota is 5th in points for QBs isn't he? Dude that trade would be horrible for you. Just stream QBs if you don't want to ride with just 1 guy.

AP should only be traded if you are getting a real RB1 back plus Brady.

Gore is not even putting up flex numbers and Tom is on bye.

CJ Spiller might have a higher ceiling than Gore this season.

Counter him. Get Brady and then another position your week at. Do not take frank gore. Maybe his top WR

He has Antonio Brown. Could try to get him which would be awesome, but I am pretty deep at WR already. I have: Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith, D. Moncrief, T.Y. Hilton, Brandin Cooks, and Amari Cooper.

As everyone has said, I wouldn't do it. Tom Brady would be great, but it gets you very thin at RB. You could easily get a good QB like Taylor, Dalton, Tannehill, Carr, etc. off the waiver wire, especially in an 8 team league.
